We’re delighted to be attending this multi-agency event which will be aimed at the over 60’s. With befriending, Age UK are trying to tackle loneliness and reduce the effects of social isolation. In Lowestoft they would love to encourage more volunteers and clients to enable us to continue to offer a free telephone befriending service. They match clients with volunteers for a free weekly half hour chat and the feedback is really heart-warming, showing how valuable and necessary the service is to to those who use it.
