The NHS Wellbeing Service Norfolk and Suffolk are offering online support, via live webinars throughout June!

It is easy to stop noticing the world around us, to become caught up in our own minds and overwhelmed by our thoughts and feelings. When those thoughts and feelings are anxious or stressed, we can quickly develop a cycle of negative thinking that is hard to break.

Techniques of mindfulness aim to help you to reconnect with your body, your mind and your environment. They teach you to focus on the present moment rather than being concerned with the past or worrying about the future. By doing so you can learn to notice signs of stress and anxiety and how to cope with them.

Introduction to Mindfulness is a one-and-a-half hour workshop that provides an overview of the principles and techniques of mindfulness.

Wellbeing Suffolk and Wellbeing Norfolk & Waveney provide a range of support for people with common mental health and emotional issues, such as low mood, depression or stress. They work with you to help you make the necessary changes to improve your wellbeing and quality of life. Their services are free and are available to people and for people of all ages.

The webinar content focuses on resources and information to help the general public maintain good emotional and psychological wellbeing during the Coronavirus Pandemic, and is not designed to offer specialist mental health support for those with more severe and enduring mental health problems.
