Arc Shopping Centre

We shall be joining other local charities, community groups and clubs and the public in Charter Square on Friday 21st June for The Great Get Together. The event aims to get everyone in Bury St Edmunds and the surrounding areas together to celebrate the community. Come along to find out more about your community and about how you can get involved in activities in the area.

Charter Square will play host to banquet tables between 10am – 4pm where all guests are invited to sit and enjoy food and drink from the restaurants within Arc Shopping Centre, all free of charge. The guests will also be given a Love Arc bag filled with great goodies.

The Great Get Together will be joined by BBC Radio Suffolk who be interviewing the guests about their charities and organisations which will be broadcast live on the Lesley Dolphin show.

People will also be encouraged to find out more about the different ways they can volunteer their time to support great local causes in west Suffolk. There are lots of different types of roles available across a wide range of sectors so whether you have a spare hour or a whole day to support a group you are welcome to come along, or if you just fancy joining us for a cup of tea and a chat, that’s fine too!
