Fundraising

Your support keeps our wheels turning
As an individual or as a group, your fundraising endeavours make a vital contribution to keeping The Rural Coffee Caravan 'on the road.' We're so grateful for all the creative ways people find to raise funds for us - from quiz nights to bake sales, sponsored events and dress-up days, or nominating us as your group's charity of the month. Every donation you collect for us makes a difference to rural communities across Suffolk. We'll happily provide tools and resources to help, just get in touch to let us know what you're planning, or try one of the ideas below.

Used Stamps

Help us to fundraise by collecting used modern postage stamps. Bring your used stamps to one of our Village Visits, or print our prepaid return label and send them off directly. Here are the guidelines on which stamps are best and how to save and send them to be exchanged for donations for The Rural Coffee Caravan.

Foreign Currency

It's also possible to generate donations for us by collecting unused foreign coins and banknotes, and also old decimal currency. Each box filled could be worth up to £50. Bring them to a Visit or follow these guidelines for collecting and sending them directly.

Used Ink Cartridges

Recycling your eligible ink cartridges could raise funds for us whilst also caring for the planet. Use the lookup tool to find both original or remanufactured cartridges on the wanted list that can be swapped for donations for The Rural Coffee Caravan. Bring them to a Visit, drop them off at our Walsham le Willows HQ, or register with Recycle4Charity via our Rural Coffee Caravan page and send them directly, with us as your beneficiary.

Fivepenny Jars

Another fundraising idea is to collect 5p coins in a tiny preserve jar and take them along to your nearest Rural Coffee Caravan Village Visit. Each little jar fits around £2 in 5p coins, and we'll gladly swap them for a freshly brewed cuppa!
