East Suffolk Community Partnerships are running a series of Coffee, Cake and Community events, funded by the Framlingham, Wickham Market, Kelsale and Yoxford and villages Community Partnership and delivered in partnership with us, The Rural Coffee Caravan!
The inspiration behind these events is to take information about services out to where residents are in rural communities. We are aware that there is often a lot of information available which can be difficult to navigate and it can also feel as though services are away or moving further away from residents, particularly in rural areas. We have noticed through dementia events and similar activities that taking information directly to where people are can support residents by making them more aware of services and options available to them.
A Dementia Awareness Roadshow will be taking place on Tuesday, 18th August, 11am – 2pm at the Framlingham Castle Community Rooms, Framlingham, Suffolk IP13 9BQ
The event is free and open to everyone and it aims to raise awareness as well as providing guidance for those who are living with Dementia and memory concerns.
There will be the opportunity to chat with a variety of services for information, advice, guidance on support groups, care options, benefits and legal advice.
If you would like more details about the event email Corinne
