Trustees, staff, volunteers and our friends are united in sadness at the death of Her Majesty the Queen.  A shining light in our country and Commonwealth.  She gave herself to us, her people and for that we all give thanks. We are proud to have received Her award for voluntary service.

At this time, we know that many will feel particularly lonely and afraid for the future so we will continue to be available to visit villages as usual, giving an opportunity to share our thoughts together.  We look to the reign of King Charles 111 with confidence and are happy to remember the encouraging letter he wrote as we first set out all those years ago.

Rest in peace, Your Majesty, our constant in an ever changing world. We will remember you with tremendous affection and gratitude for your 70 years of selfless dedication to our country. We send our heartfelt condolences to your family.
