The Rural Coffee Caravan is delighted to announce that the charity has been granted £385,000 in funding from the National Lottery Community Fund. We will use the funding over five years to benefit rural people across Suffolk and those living in the most rurally isolated communities.

This grant represents a third of our required income each year for five years. It’s a huge relief to have been successful in our application for the funding, and we are so grateful to the lottery for having faith in us and for making a pretty massive undertaking as painless as possible. It should also help us find the other two thirds of our running costs.

Ann Osborn, Rural Coffee Caravan CEO:

“This grant has come at just the right time, enabling us to build on the work we did throughout the pandemic in helping to connect communities and overcome the challenges and loneliness of rural isolation. We are enormously thankful to The National Lottery Community Fund and feel excited about realising our ambitions to make a difference to even more people’s lives.”
